Canadian Anglican and Roman Catholic bishops unite in child development…

first_img [Anglican Communion News Service] A Roman Catholic bishop and his Anglican counterpart in Canada’s New Brunswick province have been inspired by an official international ecumenical mission partnership to create a joint project to address development needs of children living in poverty. Roman Catholic Bishop Robert Harris and Anglican Bishop David Edwards have signed a joint declaration to launch a child development program. The project, “Dads & Tots,” will work with single fathers from the Waterloo Village and South End neighborhoods of Saint John, a port city.Read the full article here.
